Being a Stud&Globe partner host family goes beyond simply renting a room: each accommodation is visited by a member of our team, and a collaboration contract is signed in which the family representative of the accommodation acknowledges his or her responsibilities as a host.
Upon your arrival, and depending on the time, either the host families will meet you at a designated meeting point, or we will arrange taxis from the airport/train station to your accommodation. We advise you to introduce yourself, create a WhatsApp group to facilitate communication, and ask your host to explain the house rules: meal times, laundry, keys, etc. You can also take this opportunity to communicate your culinary preferences, special diets, or allergies!
Meal times in Spain follow a particular rhythm, often later than in other European countries. Specifically, lunch is usually eaten around 2:00 PM/3:00 PM, and dinner between 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM. If you have full board, you will have breakfast (quite light and savory in Spain!), a sandwich for lunch with a drink and a fruit, and a hot meal in the evening. With half board, you will have breakfast and one meal.

Accessibility to transport is an essential point that we always take into account to guarantee your comfort and make it easier to get around during your stay.

In the vast majority of cases, misunderstandings can be resolved simply by talking openly with the family. We therefore encourage you to express your needs and concerns in a respectful manner.
