Your arrival: Welcome and integration

Participants usually arrive at Dublin airport, then take an Aircoach to Galway. On arrival, host families collect the group from the bus station. For late arrivals, cabs are available to take them directly to their accommodation.

First day of training :

Distribution of a welcome guide for trainees and an information booklet for teachers, including integration schedules for young people on their first day of work experience.

Mobility: Follow-up and support

Follow-up and assistance throughout your mobility, with availability from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., as well as an after-hours emergency number.

End-of-course evaluation and feedback :

Evaluation schedules sent to teachers and companies.

Our team will plan your trip according to a number of factors, including your departure point, the number of participants and your budget. In general, our team will advise you to arrive by air in Dublin and then travel to Galway by bus (aircoach), which we will book for you and which will take you to the bus station, where your host families will be waiting for you.

Host families in Galway are generally located in residential neighborhoods and quiet outlying areas with good transport links. These neighborhoods are quiet, safe and well served by transport, offering a pleasant setting for Erasmus+ stays.

In Galway, you’ll be able to organize cultural visits such as Galway Cathedral, the docks, or the Galway Museum, as well as outdoor activities such as excursions to the natural landscapes around Galway, like the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands, or the mountains of Connemara.
