This data protection notice describes the personal data we collect about you and how we process it in connection with our service.

About us

Personal data we process

We process the following personal data about you, which we collect directly from you:

  • Biographical and contact information – Your name, phone number and email address.

Purpose of processing and legal basis

We process your personal data to support your internship search by contacting you and putting you in touch with the chosen company. We remain at your disposal in the event of any problems related to the internship and come back to you at the end of your experience to ensure that you have had a good experience with our company. The basis of our processing of your personal data lies primarily in the conclusion of a contract with you, and then in the performance of that contract. Other processing of your personal data is based on information during your internship, our legitimate interest in offering you our services and improving ourselves.

Personal data we ask you to provide

You must provide us with the above personal data to enable us to offer you our internship support service.  If you do not provide us with this information, we will not be able to provide our service in the best conditions.

Data recipients

We may disclose your personal data to a number of recipients for the above purposes, including :

  • The company to which you are applying or have been accepted for an internship

Transfers abroad

In some cases, we transfer your personal data outside the European Union to a country not recognized by the European Commission as offering a level of personal data protection equivalent to that of the European Union.  We only carry out this type of transfer in the context of an investment in a company outside the European Union, such as Mexico.  When we transfer your personal data outside the European Union, we ensure that appropriate measures are in place to protect your data and comply with our obligations under applicable data protection law.

Conservation

We retain your personal data in accordance with our data retention policy, which is based on the principle that we retain personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which we collected it and in accordance with legal requirements. Your personal data is only kept for one year, a period we consider useful for guaranteeing the quality of our services and measuring our activity.

  • Transaction data – If you are an active user of our service, we only store the following information: acceptance of our terms and conditions and whether or not you have paid for our service.
  • Marketing data – We store the personal data required to send you marketing messages for as long as you are subscribed to them.

For personal data other than transaction or marketing email data, we will apply the following criteria:

  • Processing of legal proceedings – In determining how long we keep your personal data, we take into account the fact that it may be required for the purposes of legal proceedings. If such data is required, we will retain it until the statute of limitations for the type of complaint that may be filed (which varies from 2 to 12 years).
  • Business requirements – When we collect your personal data solely for specific purposes, we determine how long we need to keep it for our reasonable needs.

Your rights

You have the following rights, under certain circumstances, with respect to your personal data:

  • Right of access to data – You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you and information about our processing of that data.
  • Right of rectification – You have the right to request that inaccurate data concerning you be corrected or, if our information is incomplete, to request that we update it.
  • Right of deletion – You have the right to request that we delete the personal data we hold about you. This right is also known as the right to be forgotten.
  • Right to restrict or object to processing – You have the right to request that we no longer process your personal data for particular purposes, or to object to us processing your personal data for particular purposes.
  • Right to data portability – You have the right to request that we or a third party provide you with a copy of your personal data in a commonly used machine-readable structured format.
